Hey there, so I just had a chorus tech fix our line under the house 2 weeks ago, which GREATLY sped up our speeds and everything was great. But then our DSL started dropping, from twice a day to every hour to almost every 20 minutes. Theres no trigger I've found for this and we've already paid the tech and the "fault" fee. Do I have to call them in again and pay for it AGAIN, because for all I know they will temporarily fix the problem and another will pop up. As this is already the third time this has happened, and the costs are piling up. The problem is 100% internal but I just want to know if there is anything else I can do?

Thanks

Your not charged the fault fee unless a tech goes out and finds that there is no issue.

Please DM me your account details and i'll look over the fault history and have a poke.

If you already suspect the fault is actually internal, that's cool. still should be able to pull out from the tests a few steps you can go through to improve things :)

If the fault is internal, then run a new cat5e cable from the router location to the point of entry and bypass all the internal wiring. Some houses have been totally butchered by previous attempts at adding sockets by sky and clueless electricians so bypassing all that is best.

"DSL started dropping"

I used to have this issue on & off , often worst after heavy rains. It was 3+ years before the issue was finally 100% permanently fixed  :-(
A mix of bad internal & external phone lines . My final fix was when a Chorus tech decided to look at the entry point connection under the house , all the other techs never checked that .

Im assuming its DSL dropping off . Spark support will be able to see if its DSL dropping or its something else .
