Since yesterday I've had a few calls from a +6128xxxxxxx number. The number changes each time, and when I answer it disconnects.

Pretty sure it's some sort of autodialer.  Anyone been having this happen?  Or if there is a way to report it online?

Cheers

DJ

Spark is a member of the NZTCF. Report the calls to them as detailed and discussed below

Tried to call Spark, wasnt sure of menu option covers spam calls, so I chose Faults.   39 min hold time it predicted, but I can get a call back. Unfortunately I was going to be tied up so I couldn't do call back.  Was hoping for an online option for reporting.

I'll try Spark again tomorrow.

Looks like Spark cannot do anything about it, as it's from random numbers they can't block it.

This was the reply from them.

"Thank you for your email.

I have investigated the examples provided and have located the calls below.  The calls you have received have been made using randomised numbers, where only a small quantity of calls are made from and because of this we are unable to block these numbers.

To combat these calls, we do have an automated system monitoring our network for suspicious activity, where it looks for specific numbers making large volumes of calls and when these are identified, we report these to TCF who then block these numbers.

If you do receive any further calls, please continue to ignore them and do not call these numbers back, as you will incur exponential charges."
