Hi,

I signed up for the 2019 Black Friday special of 500 Airpoints with Spark.  I was told I had to wait 2 months (the minimum time I had to stay on the unlimited phone plan) before I would get the points, but after 6 chat sessions with Spark over the past month, I am nowhere closer to understanding when the points will arrive.

No-one at Spark I chat to seems to have any idea, and promised call backs don't happen.

Anyone else here take up the offer and actually get the points?

Wow! That is both positive and depressing at the same time.  Did they just appear on your Airpoints statement? Or did you have to follow up with Spark?

All should have gone through pretty instantly.. It's on my list to chase tomorrow as the right folk had left for the day by the time i got to it

Glad you got yours sorted.

 

Still waiting for mine...they gave me 50 instead of 500!  Of course I have my proof I should have received 500.

 

Been waiting for a callback from Spark about it for 2 weeks..nothing yet.  

 

Will try the Chatbot and live in hope!

Thanks to hio77 for helping with this. I believe in trying official channels but was getting nowhere. Luckily we have people who are prepared to help and work through to an outcome.

50 is for a different offer. Given you got 50, I'd highly suspect you were eligible for 50 not 500.

If memory serves it was APD50 for unlimited mobile and APD509 if you had unlimited mobile and broadband contract added at the same time?

I got APD50 for my unlimited mobile. It did take a manual follow up. Also it doesn’t apply until your second bill or second month apparently.

Not quite. You didn't need to add the broadband contract at the same time. Just be a customer of an Unplan Broadband Plan.

Yep, I fitted the criteria exactly right, I double checked it at the time before signing up and then triple checked it again when I didn't get the correct airpoints, followed all the necessary steps.  Will update the forum if I get a response.

Same happened to me and many others from what I was told... and a chat session sorted it for me thankfully.
