So my wife who is on Skinny, is receiving messages from a couple of friends but when she replies it would not send. the iphone says "message send failure not delivered". She is also unable to call them, it returns a doo doo doo doo tone she says.

Only to TWO people. everything else is fine.

She is not on imessage (checked, yes it is off/disabled) and her mates are not using iphones.

Any ideas?

Blacklisted / blocked at other end maybe? Have seen it before when peeps have been busy doing experimental fiddling with settings then forget to undo them.

To check on Android, from the dial screen push the 3 dots, go Settings & it's right there. Or just search in Settings.

i would have thought if it was blocked by other party then the sms would appear to have been sent? is that anything to go by?

The handset still has to send the SMS even if blocked on the B party network / handset so it can't be that

"message send failure not delivered" - I picked that as not delivered, rather than not sent.
