Hi guys,

About 2 months ago I got Telecoms ADSL into one of our branch offices to mainly use as a backup to our PIP circuit we have with Telstra. It will be used to create VPN tunnels between our other offices here in NZ and overseas.

Now our VPN devices are Phion netfence's which will be managed from a company out of Austria (our head office is there). Noe they require a range of public IP addresses to configure these boxes for management etc.

My problem is that I have spent the last month trying to talk to someone at Telecom to get a larger pool of IP's for my connection and they keep turning me away saying its not possible. I also need to know there default gateway but they tell me they don't use a default gateway, does this make any sense?

Has anyone ever had to deal with this before or know what I can do about it? Maybe try a different provider who is more willing to help? If so, any suggestions?

Many Thanks,

Kruza.
