Currently using Fritz!Box 7490, if I switched to using the Smart modem, will the Smart modem doing VoIP as well so that I can retire the Fritz!Box 7490. The issue is the 7490's wifi can't cover the whole house. So if the Smart modem's wifi cover is better, my problem solved or I can using smart mash from Spark.

Or I can using smart mash with any router, including the Fritz!Box?

I don’t get your question, Spark voice is delivered over the ONT POTs ports or do you have 3rd party VOIP with another provider?

Yes, third-party VoIP, $11 per month, so not saving any money, but I've got the same number and have it for years.

You will save a dollar if you port your voice into spark :)

If you look at the back of your modem, you may notice there is no hole for a phone, that's deliberate.

True, can't really say no to savings.

I haven't moved to Spark yet, looking at options as my contract is expiring, hence ask the Spark modem can handle third-party VoIP or not?
