Hi team,

Can you point me in the right direction to track the month to month usage of a notebook dialup access device with Telecom.

Where would I look to find it?

Cheers
Bernard

There's a link at the bottom of this page:
http://www.telecom.co.nz/broadband/usage

Specifically:
http://www.telecom.co.nz/dialupusage

Hope that helps :)

For mobile broadband you can sign up to www.telecom.co.nz/mobilealerts

This is for any aircard (sierra or other) and or PDA/Smartphone 'mobile' broadband usage.

It will never give you the alert at the exact time that you hit that percentage of your allowance. However it is normally within 24 hours (although you could have kept surfing and gone way over what you expected to!)

Or you can call 0800 400 909 (option. 3) for an update over the phone.

another option is: look at your last bill to find the billing period, ie 2/11/08 then on the watcher software click tools, call history (& depending version) data count, it will show sent and recieved data usage, this is a good guide to what you are using, remember you must reset the counter on your billing date.

The flash memory on board the TStick has it on there by default.
Or you can download a copy of it from here - Version R7.4.1.0.1739 (22.41 MB) 5/28/2008

I just found http://www.telecom.co.nz/mbbmeter on the Telecom site.

Never seen a Mobile Broadband usage meter before from Telecom until now.  I don't have a data card or T Stick so can not test it myself.  Wouldn't mind knowing if it works??

Sure does. Official word is this was only launched today, and came as a complete surprise to a lot of the Telecom staff.
