Hi,

I've got 2FA setup on my Twitter account. I was receiving a text message with the code each time I logged in on a new device without an issue however for some reason Twitter has stopped sending text messages. I'm with Spark (027 number), iPhone 12 Pro Max.

You have not changed phone, ported the number from another operator or changed anything?

When I bought this phone I got a new SIM card with it and a new number. I received text messages from Twitter but then I suddenly stopped receiving them - that started around 2-3 weeks ago.

The problem is that I haven't been receiving texts for 2-3 weeks.

It appears to be also occurring with Wordpress as well with their 2FA. Whoever Wordpress and Twitter use, their text messages aren't coming through.

Coincidently I tried to log into my Twitter account in a browser yesterday and couldn’t as the two factor text didn’t come. (Skinny/iPhone). No other way to get in to my account! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯︎

Cheers,
Joseph

Doesn't Spark have some sort of international SMS filter to prevent spam? Seems to cause as many problems as it fixes.

If you at least had a self service method to say "I'm expecting an international text turn off the filter for an hour" it wouldn't be an issue.
