Just talked to a Telecom broadband helpdesk CSR who didnt know what IMAP was.  Was a bit surprised.

I am currently with Xnet...and want to change to Telecom, but we use IMAP to keep our email on our PC & Laptop sync'ed.

The Telecom CSR eventually said Telecom doesn't offer IMAP, but she wouldn't transfer me to anyone who might actually have some knowledge on the subject, despite several requests.

Anyone use IMAP on Telecom ISP?

Thanks

Google Apps for your Domain supports IMAP, is ISP independant, and Free for the basic offering :) I've been using it for over a year now to run my business.

IMAP is definitely not supported by Telecom/Xtra, they only support POP. Have had PDA's on mobile broadband that used to work but stopped working on IMAP a couple of months ago.
You will need to forward stuff via something like GMail which supports POP and IMAP.
