Hi everyone, my internet dropped dead 30 minutes ago. I used the spark tool on my phone and it says that both the fibre network and fibre connection are fine it's my modem.
I wasn't doing anything when it happened but my settings are: https://cdn.geekzone.co.nz/imagessubs/da9bef37c9fafdaf1f94c6cd18435833.jpg
Can anyone see anything wrong?

Something on chrous's network seemed to go boom.

Few different providers have all reported the same thing, including spark. most services look to have recovered. some areas not so much though.

Ah okay, not to worry if it's not on my end then, will try a reboot every now and again if it doesn't come online.
Thanks for the info!

Yeah we saw Spark 4g and fixed UFB services drop, something common to both decided it didn't wanna work for the day. Didn't take long for things to switch paths

Ahh that will explain why our VOIP went down at a client on Spark - but this sounds like it affected handovers with multiple RSPs

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Does anyone know of a chorus outage page that's more mobile and/or low bandwidth friendly?  That page is very painful on a mobile when the internet is no longer inter-ing.

Does your ISP just have general status updates?

Voyager tells me everything is all AOK (although a phone call to them confirmed that stuff was broke) - hence desiring the information from Chorus.

Is this still flapping about from those monitoring?

I just got a call for flaming Culverden which is a 3G router on the local fibre fed cell.

Last time basically took me 2hrs to get there to find they all complained the main cell site was down..
