Hi All,

Just a quickie.

Has anyone noticed a problem with connecting iPhones/MacBooks to a Spark WiFi router and not being able to access Gmail based email?

The mail apps seem to just hang when I try to access them via WiFi, however, if I switch to cellular, connectivity is fine.

I have not made any config changes on the router, the problem appeared about 2 days ago.

Cheers,

Mike.

Hi, did you figure this out? I've just started a new thread but our problems may be related. I can't access Apple Music or Apple TV on my Spark Smart Modem. I use the Gmail app and haven't had problems with that. Were you using the Apple Mail app?

In short, no, I never resolved the issue. I did end up changing the router out for another reason, which made the problem go away. And yes, it was the Apple Mail app that was not working through the Spark router, both on iPhone and MacBook.

Cheers,

Mike.

Have you folks changed the DNS to something like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 to test?
