There is a very, very cool free app from Kognition in Dunedin that runs on the Harrier. It gets around the plus dialling issue on CDMA by prepending a number with the correct country code, etc.

To get it point your Harrier browser at www.kognition.co.nz and a cab file will be downloaded and installed.

I guess this would also work for Sprint PPC-6601 Pocket PC, if the correct country is entered there?

I see. It only work with New Zealand based numbers in its current version. Basically when you tap and hold a name to dial from the Contacts list it will add a few options. When select it will replace +64 or 00 with the appropriate Long Distance code of the selected country. I guess it could be enhanced for any other carrier.

Still, very useful for New Zealand users overseas.
