I have two lines on my phone, one physical and one esim. The physical one is a ‘sharer’ on my pay monthly plan.

I just went to order a new iPhone and it won’t let me do it because sharing is not allowed on the plans it forces you to choose.

I do not need to change the plan - which costs the same as one of the ‘new’ ones - but ‘leave on existing plan’ does not seem to be an option.

Am I missing something?

Maybe.

It told me I had to remove the sharer. When I tried to do that it told me I had to put the sharer on another plan. But the sharer is me.

I gave up in the end.
