I have a router i am trying to use on spark with data only sim

IMEI:    866854020592948
IMSI :    530052180860446
My number:    Unknown
Hardware version:    WL1B310FM04
Software version:    21.300.03.00.1085
Web UI version:    17.100.09.00.03
LAN MAC address:    20:A6:80:13:2D:E5
WAN IP Address:    10.50.1.57

 

I always get no cell service on the unit, i have tried to upgrade(B315s-607_UPDATE_21.318.01.02.1375) but it just says update failed every time..

 

Any advice appreciated

Thats a very old version. It is not compatable with L700 due to issue with CAT M1. It might work on L1800, if you have coverage. Do you know if this was a Vodafone or Spark version of the router?

Its only showing the standard Huawei firmware in it with no vendor labeling

Nah checked IMEI


I did read about a firmware update allowing more 4g reception but I have tried 2 different firmware files on 2 different computers just gives message "update failed"
