My wife is overseas in the U.K. at the moment.

I have Sparks international text and call add on.

If I ring her mobile in the U.K., is that call within the allowed calls for the add on? I can’t find an easy answer and rather than suffer through hold music, I thought someone here is bound to know!

Yes but that’s insufficient information to answer my question.

It doesn’t tell me if ringing a NZ mobile roaming overseas is included, or whether only U.K. based numbers are.

@Geektastic If the person is using a NZ mobile number 021, 022, 027, 028, 029 you are billed as if the customer is in New Zealand (you do not need a international addon)

The roaming customer pays for the incoming calls, incoming SMS are not billed to the roaming subscriber

You are billed 100% the same as if the roaming subscriber is still in there Home country

You know all this about roaming or I have misunderstood your question??

The caller will pay nothing different if the New Zealand user is in the country or overseas.

The called party will pay roaming rates to receive the call.

Ok so since I have free calls to her phone in NZ it won’t cost me anything to ring her if she’s in the U.K. but it will cost her?

Yes, which usually means it also costs you :-)

You're better off using a FaceTime Audio/WhatsApp voice call etc if you're trying to avoid the cost issue with a frequently called number. Quality is usually better too.

I agree with the previous guy, use something like FaceTime, Farcebook messenger, WhatsApp, Viber, or Line.
As I assume you and your wife are on the same phone plan, it will be you that ends up costing to contact your wife by normal phonecalls or texts.
