Anybody else having trouble with logging on to  Xtra Homepage.
Since this morning I have to log-in every time I try to access even though I have the box checked for "Keep me signed in for 2 weeks". Until this morning it was automatic.
Maybe something to do with the AVG update this morning which now keeps alerting me to cookies and I haven't found anyway of turning off the alerts??

I can ask around to see if anyone has heard of other customers with similar problems.
Which part of NZ (City/Suburb)  are you in?
What modem type do you have?

I cannot promise anything as I don't work in this space.

I do strongly recommend you contact the Telecom Broadband Helpdesk as they have the best tools to try and help you.

Thanks Neal

but it suddenly started working again this afternoon after I emailed Xtra regarding the problem.
No idea if they did something or if it came right by itself.

I had a customer the same morning with problems logging into the yahoo xtra webmail. I ended up having to download 104mb of emails to manually delete them via pop3 lol.

After the problem coming and going for three days all is sweet now ,but not with any help from xtra. I don't think they know what is going on.
I've also noticed since the problem appered that a lot  of my mail started being diverted to the spam folder at the same time. Only found out by accident when I changed the setting from auto delete to once a week. Nice one Xtra!! Contacting their Help desk seems to be a total waste of time.

I haven't used AVG recently but if AVG or any other internet security suite is blocking cookies, you'll find that the auto login feature on many websites won't work.

May pay to check that.
