Hello

I have a Mikrotik Rb912R Ltap Mini running RouterOS 6.47.9. I have no problems running a voda or 2degrees pre-paid sim in it, however when I put a skinny sim it continuously resets every few minutes.

I’ve tried using both slots, and having dual sims but it only happens with the Skinny sim.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Shane

after further investigation I'm pretty sure it's the skinny network.

I've tried voda and that works fine. I've tried SPARK and I get DENIED when it tried to connect with a sim that works in a phone!

Skinny and Spark use the same physical network. If you are getting denied, are you using a wireless broadband sim (these are locked to certain types of devices) and does your device support the Spark 3G/LTE bands?

Maybe you could mention if you are setting APN to anything in particular.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.
