It's an interesting feature but something that very few networks support. Out of the large number of networks I've ever roamed on (probably 100+) only Vodafone Sweden supported it!

NealR: The TNZ WCDMA850 network will support the feature to auto update the time on a device similar to the CDMA feature. This would still be device dependant as not all devices support this feature.
