Will Telecom’s new UTMS network support “Auto-update of time”.  As this is a great feature I'm used to on CDMA.

(Vodafone dont seem to support this?)

It's an interesting feature but something that very few networks support. Out of the large number of networks I've ever roamed on (probably 100+) only Vodafone Sweden supported it!

The TNZ WCDMA850 network will support the feature to auto update the time on a device similar to the CDMA feature. This would still be device dependant as not all devices support this feature.

Out of curiosity Neal is there any reason why most networks don't enable this?

My brief invesitgation into why this was not universally used was due to the inconsistancies is device implementations. Johnr may be able to provide further (and possibly more accurate) reasons.
