On one of my home Spark fibre connections, the assigned static IP seems to have an old hostname set.
Anyone know how can I get this hostname removed? This is without the pain of ringing standard support and trying to explain this to them.

Thanks

I'd reach out to the government agency (or try CERT or GCSB) you're potentially able to host a mail server masquerading as that department as a backup as well.

I'm sure they'll be motivated to remove the hostname.

This is not the IP you are posting from, right?

Nope - its another Spark IP on one of my other Spark fibre connections. Someone has reached out and is sorting for me :)

Thanks
