I currently have broadband with Spark but am looking around for sharper pricing. Skinny looks like it could be a good option, plus it's on the Spark network, which is a bonus. I would most likely take a 12 month contract with Skinny and get their modem to get support from them - which I presume is just plug-and-play.

My query is do they allow me to pay for the whole 12 months upfront? I have a little extra money at the moment and it would be nice to pay for the next 12 months (is it a monthly or 28-day billing cycle?) in one go - do they allow this option? If so, do I just provide my debit card number and they take the payment?

Oh d'oh that sucks 🙁 I worked at Bigpipe briefly while I was at Spark and I remember you could bulk-pay in advance, but I guess Skinny doesn't allow the same thing.

Well it's not their desired way of doing business. They want a card or such like. Open a Dosh account, get a card, dump the money in there and off you go.

Depends on how far you want to go to be with Skinny.
