Having to set up a new fibre plan for a different property, have always been with spark and tapped into their netflix offers etc.  Thinking most broadband plans are all very similar in cost and offering, but wondered if there are any unadvertised offers going around, spark, one nz etc always seem to have some targeted marketing via a phone call to make you some offer, and wondered if people were aware of any floating around?

Cheers

There are plenty of providers around. It's basically pick your poison.

IMHO Spark are pretty expensive for broadband. But broadband isn't a commodity like electricity is and each provider is different. There are providers like Quic and One NZ for example who offer 100/20Mbit plans which are fine for many households if you wanted cheap and cheerful. But Broadband has always been a race to the bottom in terms of pricing and there is very little margin on it so you don't get the same sort of deals as you did a few years back.

Be careful of those broadband comparison sites too. There is one site who offers their own broadband as the "cheapest + best deal" and the other offers on the page are simply links to those companies who give them the best kickback. They're purely advertising sites.

What are your requirements?
