Came accross this in Symond St. Auckland CBD. The site has only been installed for 1/2 months so I assume its Telecom upgrading the filters (the techs. were working on a ring around the bottom of the antennas). Seems they are being pretty onto it in terms of fitting these.

Not Telecom!

The Infratel truck gives it away, and it is a Vodafone cabinet. (It could be a new type from NZ Comms - now 2deg)

Infratel have contracts for Vodafone and NZ Comms.

I'm sure we could install the filters if Telecom asked us!!?!

Could be something to do with the 3G upgrade on this site, or an issue with the real-tilt.

If it was the South Island I would be able to tell you exactly!

There are one or two Vodafone sites in the network - I don't think that there's any one person who knows all of them!

I've got a pretty good handle on what's in the South Island, but there's probably more sites in South Auckland !
