My in-laws have just purchased Sierra USB Wireless 885 modem that uses the Telecom cell network. My in-laws now have two laptops that require access to internet, and possibly more in the future. What are their options for networking this connection:

•           wireless router that accepts USB Modem (can anyone recommend one, that is compatible/good)

•           Ad hoc network (peer to peer, can I do this wirelessly?)

•           any other options?

I'm sure this problem isn't new, but a wireless router capable of accepting USB devices seem to be relatively rare. My apologies if this is discussed elsewhere, I couldn't find anything specific on the above.

I am using a Cradlepoint PHS300 with a Sierra Wireless 885. It works perfectly and should be available in New Zealand sometime soon.
