If so, how is it running for you?

I was one click away from buying it online before deciding i'll get some feedback first from anyone else also with a T8285 version and running it on XT.

Cheers!

lol .. same here .. almost got one from aussie .. then chickened out.
went for the slightly cheaper iphone to keep me amused untill i here more on the T8285.

i am a little surprised there isnt anyone try to sell one on trademe yet ...

talked to a chap who has a T8282 on the VF network and he loves it, i am guessing the t8285 will be all good on the XT network.
i think you should get one, let me play with it for a week and then i can decide if i want to get one for myself :)

What a chicken!! Ha :D No i chicken'd out too. I couldnt justify the spend, plus the missus would have turned into the hulk seeing a $1200.00 debit against "phone". I might wait until it comes down in price. My real want is the touch pro 2 with umts 850.

My plan is.. maybe.. hmm.. get the touch hd so i can use on XT, and when the touch pro 2 850 is released, sell the touch hd to go towards the cost of the touch pro 2! the touch hd looks the goods but using the on screen keyboard would absolutely annoy me i think.

up until i got the iphone, i was using the htc titan .. hacked a little of course to run gps etc.
to start of i used the slide out keyboard on it, but then more and more just used teh touch screen one.
now i have the iphone i dont mind using the on screen keyboard at all.
Although i understand it is quite a bit more sensitive than HTC screens.

That was my orginal plan, get a iphone, play with it for a while, sell it and get a htc touch hd ... but by the time i do that who knows what great new toys will be out :)

$1200 for htc touch hd ? ... that is a pretty good price .. best i found was about that but in aussie dollars .. would have been about $1500 to get one here i think
