Nokia 6120c arrived today.. and I'd like to activate the SIM.

What's the process like when you do it? do you get any selection of number?

(I wish there was an online form or something that you could use that allowed you to try different number combinations)

You'll need to go to a Telecom Shop and either stranfer your existing number onto the SIM or connect a new number (pre or post paid) onto the SIM.

Cheers Neal. It'll be a completely fresh connection, and I'll just do prepay - but wondering if there's any allowance for choosing a number. I appreciate that it's probably not possible on prepay, which is ok. just wondering if number selection is part of the procedure.

Unfortunately I was told after calling 123 that I needed to call 0800323232, and then the CSR there told me that I'd get a random number.

(I'm getting it sorted through a friend at an ORB store, so it's not really a problem, just an observation)
