   was wondering if anyone has tried out the new XT network global roaming from Malaysia ??

am headed that way next month and was wondering if its worth getting global roaming on the new XT phones or is it like old days where you get a "welcome" message 2 weeks after you have landed and most of the txt messages either are delayed or wont go at all
