I've just changed my iPhone from Vodafone to XT prepay.

I'm pretty sure VF charged me $1 to access my home Wifi network. I've tried to find where I read this on the VF Web site, but can't seem to find it now.

Do Telecom charge you to access your own home Wifi network as well from a mobile?

What if I switched off 3G and connected to my home network?

Wi-Fi access is a function that does not require anything from your mobile network - therefore there is no charge from Vodafone or Telecom if you want to access WiFi at home, work or a cafe.

Are you sure you are not confusing it with the $1/day for 10MB data over their mobile network offer Vodafone have?
