I went from the Go One bill to XT Prepay. Any ideas why it wasn't either free or $29.95?

Nick.

It wasn't free because they are not free for prepaid connections.

Did you get $10 included credit on the SIM?

Where did the SIM come from?

It seems that I didn't get any credit, I got it from a Telecom store.
I didn't even realise it was an option to get a SIM without any credit, I guess this is where the price difference must come from.

You pay 29.95 for a sim card with a number loaded to it with $10 credit on it,or if you want to keep your old number you buy a blank sim card for 19.95 with no credit on it.I know this cause i wanted to keep my old number so they sold me a blank sim card

Customers migrating to WCDMA (XT) from CDMA should not be charged.

Can you PM me some details and I'll have a look into it for you.

Have done so.

I was just surprised that it was possible seeing I hadn't seen it referred to anywhere.

This is how it should be;

New Prepaid SIM Pack - $29.95 (pre-connected) with $10 credit)
Prepaid Port (or own number) - $19.95
Lost Stolen SIM - $19.95
Postpaid - $free
