Hi there

I recently got a Nokia 5800 off phonesdirect.co.nz and am using it on the XT Network. No problems at all except for it's asking for a message centre number (when I try send a text) which I'm not sure what I am meant to put there

Does anyone know what the SMS message centre for XT is? I asked in a Leading Edge shop and they told me I have to find it out myself!

Thanks in advance

I am intrigued that your Nokia5800 is not reading this value off the SIM card like every other phone as this would be standard behaviour.

Yeah, I just went and got my number changed over and they gave me a new sim card and everything is working sweet, including texts. Not really sure what was going on there

I had deleted this post I thought
