Hey all,

I have an iPhone 3G on Telecom XT. Currently having some really strange problems when calling my voicemail. When typing in my pin, say for example "1234" the voicemail rejects it and says "sorry, pin number 112344567 is not correct, please try again". 3 tries and it locks me out. I've called Telecom a few times, they reset the pin back to 1234 and it just happens again.

Any ideas why this would be? It's just picking up the completely wrong numbers that I type in.

Cheers in advance for any info.

Hey, I seem to be having a similiar problem with my 3G iphone on XT network, when i purchase a top up voucher and then ring to top up i punch in the number and it says it's not valid, i have typed the number in perfectly but it seems to add another number in somewhere along the way, i usually get it right after about 3 attempts which is ok but kind of frustrating.

I have only had it once with voicemail but have not been locked out. It sounds like we are having the same kind of problem

Yeah i've been doing some research and it's all over the Apple forum too. Seems it's a widespread problem. One of the solutions is to turn 3G off, but unfortunately for us that's not an option.

Thanks for the informative links! Good to know it's not an isolated problem. As for topping up by text I tried to but didn't seem to work but if this is the case it would make life far easier
