I gave in and upgraded my Treo 700wx to the pro!  So far its good - needed to upgrade a ton of my old apps though!  Only issue Im having is with the GPS.  Has anyone used it with any success?  Ive tried Google Maps and it wont work on GPS mode - it'll eventually come back saying it cant find any satellites.  It'll work on the other mode but is so inaccurate its not funny.  Ive installed GPS Test and that doesnt seem to really be finding anything either.  Ive also tried Garmin XT with the free NZ maps and it'll never find the satellites either.

Don't mean to state the obvious but have you tried the device outside where you can see lots of sky.

FYI, I have no idea if the Treo 700wx upgraded with Pro software is even supposed to work.

There is a knowen issue with the PRO, the issue is that it does not come with aided GPS data loaded. My advise would be to leave the GPS on over night so that it can recieve the up to date settings.

ensure that under network settings location is on, the inital connection time for a satillite fix can take up to 20 minutes, ensure there is plenty of sky, grab a magazine and a cup of coffee, and wait. Once it is connected next time connection is almost instant. I have use a couple of pros and they do work but painfullyu slow sat. link 1st time boot

I have Palm Treo Pro. It should have a program call QuickGPS. Update that and get the latest GPS satellites coords. It works fine on Google Maps and TomTom Navigator.

Managed to get it all going today.. Working great now! It finally found all the satellites after I stood outside for 10-15 mins. :)
