Hi guys

I brought a sony ericsson C510a from telecom which is capable of running on the vodafone network,Well I put a vodafone sim card in it and it sends messages and makes calls ok,the internet doesn't work on it. it comes up with the t-world and i want the vodafone internet.

can you help me connect to the vodafone internet from a xt phone?

Go to wireless.vodafone.co.nz and enter your phone model and number and it'll send the settings to you.

Yeah as mentioned above, you'll need the vodafone APN settings when using a vodafone sim :) and Telecom APN for an XT sim, easy to change and it definitely works on the Sony tri-band HSPDA phones




I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

what do i do after i have installed the 4 vodafone internet, mms, wap and email to my phone do i need to change any setings?

Um, no you shouldn't need too,

That seems like it covers everything you want to do, it should go straight through into the net

With XT though, i think you first need to request a T-World password, first time with an unlocked parallel import.
