Hi I have family in Khandallah who are currently having problems (Started yesterday afternoon).

Initial problem was, I call person A and get person B.  I call from person A and on my caller ID it shows up as caller C.

Their phone and possibly internet are completely out now.

Telecom has diverted the number to their cell but have said there is some cable fault which won't be possibly resolved until Monday.

I was wondering If anyone knew any more information about this and any more accurate ETR.  There is nothing mentioned on the Telecom Service Status Page.

It is likely only the 125 team will be able to shed any light on this for you.

Monday coming is a reasonable timeframe for a residential cable fault on a Friday, especially given the client has mobile service, and free diversion till fixed.

definately sounds like a cable fault outside somewhere, crosslined all over the place, sounds like a mess.. their are far less cable techs than normal linesmen tech's out their, that would suggest the delay in restoring service
