Hey all,

I'm on Telecom Broadband, have been having trouble with Facebook all day yet others I've spoken to on other ISPs have not had an issue (xtra users same problem)
e.g trying to load the farmville app on Facebook has been next to impossible all day.

I'm wondering if its the Cache servers Xtra has that are not working properly?
I tried plugging my vodem in and facebook incl apps are working perfectly.

Thanks.

*edit*
I'm on the 10gb plan

These applications are really unstable mate. It is the nature of these things.

There is a setting to disable all apps, but that locks out things like Facebook mobile as well (or so I hear) and only prevents the app directly interacting with you (i.e. invitations).  It sucks.

+1

Games that do not tell a story nor have a ending should be avoided.  Like gambiling/slot machines/pokies they exploit the principle of intermittant variable reward to keep you hooked.

Anyway I'm not having any problems with Facebook myself on Telecom, but I don't really use any of the "games".  Also I don't believe the Telecom http cache is active yet last I heard.
