Hi,

I connected a CDMA phone last week and was informed that I could register it online for $10 free credit. Where can I do this? I've found http://www.telecom.co.nz/prepaidreg but that says "powered by the XT Mobile Network" and won't accept the phone number. Should it work on that page, or is there another one somewhere that I haven't found?

Thanks :)

Similar kind of thing for me, though I recently had an 021 number ported to XT on the prepay network. I tried to register to get the $10 credit online but was told it there was a problem. I called the 0800 number and the CSR explained that the credit was only for new XT 027 numbers and not for any ported numbers and so I was not eligible. Is this right?

I was told to register by friends who had themselves ported their numbers and who had received the $10 credit.

Just wondering whether I am eligible for the credit or not. The website simply states that it is for new connections (which I assume I am), and that the only caveat would be if I had already registered with an existing Telecom mobile number then I would be out of luck.

Any confirmation of whether it is possible would be great!

Cheers :)

Hi Yann,

Please PM your mobile number and I will look into it, to be able to register the mobile number needs to be loaded into our reigistration database which should have been done when you connected if it hasn't it is very easy for me to have it loaded
