Hi There,

Im currently on the telcom pro plan thinking of changing to the big time plan due to the excessive 2c/mb overage,

Is the cost worked out by the number of days you are on the plan? (eg, $51ish dollars for 20days on pro plan)
Is it best to use up all your current data cap before switching?
does the data cap reset to 0 after the change?

You have basicly got it, as Tcom charges a month in advance, the day you change you would be credited the part month you have paid in advance and BT would be charged part month plus a full month to get you ahead of yourself again. I.e Pro $79.95 per month, 15 days left in your billing cycle would be 79.95 / 31 * 15 = $38.68 as a credit, for BT $59.95 / 31 * 15 = $29.00 as a part month debit then the full $59.95 to the month in advance. Doesnt really matter when you make the change as it would just effect how big or small the part month credits and debits will be.

Hi Skewt,

The other option you have avliable is one of the telecom business broadband plans.

$53.29 for 15 gigs with $5 per gig overage
$79.96 for 40 gigs with $4 per gig overage

***** all prices exclude GST - these plans must have a 24 contract and come with a 2wire gateway *****
