hi, just wondering... i thought telecoms new cabinets had VDSL2 card things in them..?

if so why does it have a thing on the telecom wholesale map where the ETA will go for an upgrade for it...? why cant they just put it on now?

although i am with slingshot and they're not likely to want to pay telecom for it. lol

I understand that the formal marketing of the VDSL2 service has been delayed till early next year. That said the equipment itself can simply be upgraded (by card exchange) to support VDSL2 as required, so once formally released I would expect any ISAM based exchange or cabinet (if it does ADSL2+ then is ISAM) will be able to provide VDSL2 to customers within an acceptable cable length run.

In my opinion
I think they are upset that the comcom has slapped them saying they should be selling VDSL2 for the same price as ADSL and ADSL2 so its been delayed due to 'technical reasons'
