Excellent pics guys, am watching with interest!

Edit: Acutally this type of tour would be good through the likes of some of NZ's big Datacentres etc, Anyone got any contacts with Orcon, TCL etc

They seem allot smaller than the ones in Airedale St when I worked there.  Seem to remember that Mt Eden had big ones too..  Most likely battery technology has shrunk them down.

I agree :),

But I their wouldn't be much to see,

The aged exchange in Taradale, with ADSL2 gear in it but mager limitation on bandwidth back to napier hence no ADSL2 in Taradale yet.

although Napier Exchange has a VERY large building, unsure on how much of it is used anymore tho :)

I think Napier is the feeder for taradale, marewa and most of the fibre cabinets. Should be something to see - they dont build something that big for no reason.

It also has a radio mast with antennas pointing at kahuranaki so there would be alot of the older radio linking systems that i would love to see.
