Just got this great phone for my wife and have been trying to set it up to do gmail using imap but have not had much luck. Am able to download emails but not send. Does telecom have an email setup online like vodafone does where it sends you an sms with all the settings??

See if you can install the Gmail app for it

Visit Gmail.com from the WAP browser

Thanks this does work but the app does not turn when I open the slide to use the keypad. Just need the right setting to be able to send emails.

I had problems setting this up on my phone as well, when you are looking at the settings for the SMTP server, IMAP server, ect they give you two port numbers to try if you try the second one it should work, I had trouble setting mine using the default one they provide but the second Port worked fine
