first thing tommorow, im buying a new vodafone sim!!!

Ive been using my iphone on data ever since xt launched until it just randomly stoped working, ive still got credit (im on prepaid) and have data left on my plan.
3 days ago i called telecom and they resetd evrything and nothing worked so i was told pretty much tough luck since i have an iphone and its not supported. Then i decided to drive up to the local telecom shop and when i was about to show them my phone IT STARTED WORKING!.... confused i went back home where suprise suprise it stoped working!
I then went to work to try my sim in any other xt phones to see if data would work and it still didnt!
This is when i phoned telecom again and found out that the cell tower in that area serves both my home and work location meaning it must be the cell tower.
Funily enough the telecom rep came into work today and tried his phone on data and it took 5 minutes to load just one page! i was suprised it even loaded as all the other phones just timed out!
I told this to the lady at telecom on faults reporting who was a down right b*(&@#!!!, all she said was sorry we need to find more people with the fault do have any other numbers and then she said it could be my sim even though i explained to her it worked in other areas and that i was told by telecom it wasnt... If telecom dont want to fix their problems thats fine by me theres two other carriers out there and ill be making sure i sell them at work instead.

I am sorry that you had this experience as this is not the type of interaction we want to have.

If you want to take this further please PM me and I'll help out where I can.

Neal.

I would suggest to you, s.joseph, that you raise a proper fault and talk to NealR - I doubt that you're the only one affected if it's just the cell tower. If you are, well then there are still procedures that can be followed to alleviate your situation.

I'm also going to take this chance to remind you that ranting on a forum isn't going to get anything solved - what do you want us to do, clap? It's more helpful to EVERYONE if you post a question and seek a resolution.
