LG 900 application error

SO, I have a client with the LG 900 and is getting the following error message: "maximum number of applications reached" randomly when she trys to use different programs such as messaging.

To fix this, she has to (remove her battery) crash the phone.

She has not added any new applications on the device and as such is just using the default apps.

When I open the multi-tasking screen, the end all button is always greyed out which gives me the impression there are no programs open.?

Any ideas? The one forum online I found said to delete applications but that doesn't work if you have added any!!

Back up the phone and re flash the device, or nuke it whatever term you folks use.

This is going to be more and more common.

Because I didn't want to bother you with single customer queries thats why!!

I can't really tell this client to do that to her device and I shouldn't be re-flashing software either so it might have to be a Telegistics job!

This phone has some serious problems, I took mine back after getting sick of taking the battery out 3 times a day, and got a refund for it, Bought a 3g Iphone off Trade me for $600 and wish I had done that first. Great phone, not one problem with it, I also see Telecom has pulled the 900 from its available phones now, Hmmmm that in itself is an admission of problems. Take it back, the consumers Guarantees Act says the item must be fit for the use for which it was purchased, these phones are NOT!!!!!!
