acidbaby: hmm nope that didnt fix it for me, this phone is just cr@p, last time I buy a telecom phone.
Sounds like honkey has had the same problems as me... I have still not had my software upgraded tho as telecom pretty much refused to do it, gonna take it to the actual repair place and see what they can do as the staff at telecom dealer stores are pretty useless.
You should be very careful about insulting the telecom dealer staff, there are many on Geekzone and some of us work very closely with them. When i had issues with any of my phones including the 6255 they couldnt have been more helpful, in fact before the problems with it became widely known i took mine in after a week and the replaced it no questions asked. Although the new one they gave me had issues too, i had it sent away and software updated. Not a worry since then. The phone works perfect.
You cannot make any complaints until you have had the phone upgraded, just inform the staff nicely at the shop you brought it from that they have to send it away to be upgraded. Im sure once you get it back you will love the phone
