I got one today, much better than waitiing in line like people were doing yesterday.  Not qutre sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

Downfall is, the stupid device doesnt work with Mac OSX 10.6 64bit =|

Also, the Telecom sticker is very cheap, but not too worried about that.

the fact its not compatiable with 10.6 64bit is a HUGE downfall.

Got mine as soon as the Queen St store opened yesterday. Quite a few people were there right off the bat :)

are you sure you're actually in 64bit mode?

I can get it to work in 32bit SL, but not 64bit.

Did a little bit of research and someone wrote a post saying that its not 64bit compatible.

Picked one up yesterday at 9am as the store opened.... was lucky as I had a queue of about 7 or 8 people immediately behind me.

Finally got around to using it. I am sitting in a lounge where my Iphone has no reception (with Voda) and I am getting 4 bars of 3g with Telecom XT!

Did a speedtest to an Auckland server and got 1.1Mb down, 0.11Mb up, 300ms latency. I realise Speedtest isn't the "be all". The speeds aren't fantastic, but more than adequate for browsing and email.

I give it two thumbs up :)
