Hi Everyone - Sorry for the last topics, i only made one however there seems to be three corrupt topic started.

What i really want to know is if telecom offers a Fax to Email service. I have checked their website and can't find it however that doesn't necessarily mean it doesn’t exist.

If they do not have this service can anyone recommend another provider that does? and doesn’t require i change phone provider.

Cheers

I'm not sure if Telecom offer such a service or not but both VFX and 2talk offer such a service and have number porting.

I saw the VFX service and it looks good - do you have to be on VoIP for it though?

No you don't.  You do have to have a VFX phone number as the fax service is attached to it.

I run a personal VFX number with my own fax, and am yet to register a SIP device to it.  I have the fax service setup to email my work email, and it works like a charm.

2Talk support outbound faxing (you send an email and they forward it on as a fax), VFX don't yet support this.

Yeah really just need it for incoming fax's so we can process fax orders while we are away this summer.

Think i will try out the Xnet VFX service - they have told me that i can get it as a stand alone service for $10 +GST per month. then also port my current fax number over.

Or you could try 2talk, they let you do it for free...
