Santa this month has been calling our house regularly, "*5 secs silence* Hello this is Santa bla bla bla... please state what you'd like for Christmas after the beep. *beep*". Has anyone else been getting these messages from Santa and is is some sort of scam/telemarketing thingy?

They are quite annoying, also is there anyway to track a number without having phone id?

I hate having our number in the white pages. >_<

Okay they just rang again, 4th time in under 10 minutes, bro answered with a car/bed then pressed 1 for something. Are these automated systems even illegal? Dialing house numbers like that.

Call Telecom, assuming they are your phone provider, and complain.

Have a look here for more info.

Ring Telecom and lay a complaint for Nuisance Calls, They should be able to track it down

D'= Will Santa still deliver a car/bed that my bro asked for?

It would be a pretty darn good marketing tool, recording what people want. xD Thats what they try and do afterall when they are not selling.

What a completely silly idea/business, as if Santa has nothing better to do then call people stacking up major $$ in toll calls direct from the North Pole.
