Does anyone know the code required to get into the programming area of my Okta Touch which is running WM6.5. I've tried with Telecom but they can only help if it's running 6.0 or 6.5.

Cheers

What do you actually mean by "programming area"? A better question... what do you want to achieve?

Sorry, didn't explain myself properly. When I purchased the phone off TM I called Telecom to have it switched over to my number.
They were able to change the ESN, but then to program my number into the phone they asked me to press ##778 and then the talk button, which normally allows access for the phone to be programmed, with my phone it just called Telecom and recieved the not connected recorded message.
Telecom only have instructions for Okta Touch running WM 6.0 and 6.1, not 6.5 which is running on my Touch.

I cannot get hold of the guy who sold me the phone, I assume he must be away, but I'm starting to pull my hair out, so any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Cheers

I also have WM6.5 and noticed mine no longer works either. ##788# usually just runs \Windows\ESPT.exe but that doesn't exist on my phone. Try searching for it on yours. You probably have a different ROM to mine. I have Build 16 of the NFSfan's

I have been meaning to upgrade my ROM, so I will work this one out.

This thread has a few ideas to try too

On my ROM the equivalent of ##778# is Start / System Tools / Phone Codes / PST [778]

I would guess that yours is implemented somewhere (if not here) as a shortcut too.

I cannot find the system tools icon. Under device information the ROM version is 3.14.605.1 if that helps?

No problem. Just create a short-cut. In File Manager, select the epst.exe and hold the pointer down until the context menu appears, and choose "Send link to programs folder" (or similar). You will then find EPST in your Start / Programs menu.

There must be a problem with this file, I've got the link on the programs menu, but when I tap the icon it starts to open then returns to the programs menu?

The FUG says no unlock codes or circumvention of security, but I think programming the MIN/MDN is really no different to swapping a SIM so I *think* it's probably OK.
