Looks like no camera etc so seemed a bit over priced. The Nokia 6225 is a wicked price at $149 for Nokia camera phone with IR. Even if it is a bit long in the tooth.

The phone is now available and is listed on the Telecom website, I just had a look at it today. I had a look through the interactive demo and it looks like quite a nice phone but have not been to a store to look at it physically yet.

My question is does anyone have one and is it a nice phone easy to use and full of good usefull functions. And do you think it is worth the $299.

Thanks

Biased opinion because I work on the Telecom side of the industry, but I really do feel like its a good value for money phone.

The UI is like a cross between Samsungs prettyness and Hyundai/Curitel/Pantechs layout. (To someone used to Telecom phones it "feels like a Hyundai").

No aerial is a plus, camera is average (on a par with other 0.3MP camera phones I have used) . Phone looks good ("looks like a vodafone").

Good value for $299. If looks/flip arent everything to you, and price is, then get a 6225 Nokia before they are put out to pasture...

[PS, i just deleted your crosspost to this thread, as we dont do crossposting here.]
