I went and got my free t-stick with the free 500mb offer. I put it in my iPhone and have gotten the $20 for activating, $10 already on it and $10 for signing up online, so $40. I then activated non-stop text, $12. I then went and got my free t-stick with the free 500mb offer. I put it in my iPhone and have gotten the $20 for activating, $10 already on it and $10 for signing up online, so $40. I then activated non-stop text, $12. I then had $28 left which is normal. So now I've used 100mb of data on it and I have $15 left on my sim card. When I disable data there are no extra charges. Why? When i call *333 its says i have used hhowever many mb on my mobile 500 broadband plan, so why is it charging me?

Tom, try searching the forums, I and others have explained this countless times before.

If you don't want to do this, why not call the prepaid help desk? They will explain it all to you. 0800 32 32 32.

From telecom.co.nz

On this 500 MB plan you'll be charged 10c per MB for the first 300 MB and the next 200 MB are free. If you do not exceed the first set amount of the eligible data usage, you will only be charged for what you use that month and not the monthly fee.

You paid $30 for a SIM with $30 credit, which is effectively 500MB's if that makes sense?

Hope that helps.

also, you paid 30 (29.95 to be exact) and that is prepaid credit on the SIM..how it works is that initially when u start using data, you will be charged till you reach the 300 MB threshold mark( in a calender month, as it is a prepaid) and for the rest of the calender month the remaining 200 MB is free..If you dont happen to use the remaining 200 MB, it DOES NOT ROLL OVER to the next calender month..
