Well today, we received 2 letters in the mail from Telecom. I thought it was a bill and some sort of notice, so I left it to parents to open. Mum handed me them both later and said I might like to read before she "biffs them". Had a look and it was Telecom apologizing for the usage meter slip up (how nice lol). They said that they would:


Refund the difference for 1 month if we changed plans
Double our usage on the plan until the 15th of Jan
and they said sorry. 


Thing is, I would have thought this was really really nice but they slipped up, we are on big time. So when do I get my double Unlimited? And did everyone get these? (and both the letters were in fact the apologies, just reworded. No bill. Did all Telecom customers get one?

Sam, I'm also on BigTime but have not had any letters yet, bill came yesterday tho.

have you just recently changed to bigtime? could be the system foir doingtheletters showed you on whatever plan you were on before.

I'm on bigtime and did not get the letter.

Just reading what you wrote
and it looks like you have to change to a plan off bigtime which they will then refund the difference between bigtime and te new plan and double the usage on the plan you change to ..
No double unlimited there ??

Presumably only the non Big Time plans should have got that letter about Telecom's "makeup" for the usage meter problems.

Sounds like you're a bit of an anomaly, our connection at home is on Big Time and we didn't get said letter.

I'll scan both of the letters soon, they will be covered in lines though because my brother thought it would be fun to turn them into paper planes. Lol.

any particular reason why you would go to the bother of scanning them?

I don't think anyone is denying that you got them, just that it is probably just an admin error where you got a letter that shouldn't have gone to big time customers.
this sort of thing happens all the time with large companys (and small ones)

have you phoned Telecom to ask why you got the letter? I imagine that should be your first port of call.

I was one of the Go Large plan users forced over to Big Time
I also recieved a letter but paid no real attention to it.
