I have a LG500f (Xenon) on the Telecom XT network.  I'm not sure if this is a network problem or a handset problem, but hopefully someone can help.

When I receive texts the time/date stamp is incorrect - it shows the texts as being received 14 hours into the future!

Texts in the outbox are fine.  In fact, to test this I sent myself a text at 10.31am 06/01/2010.  It showed in the outbox as this time and date, but in the inbox it showed as arriving at 12.31am on 07/01/2010.

The World Clock setting is correct - Wellington, New Zealand.  The time on the screen is showing as correct.  It's only incoming texts that are time/date stamped into the future.

A friend also has this phone, and has exactly the same problem.  Help!

Yep, there is a firmware update to fix this.

Unfortunately you will need to send you're phone aware to Telegistics via a Telecom Store or Dealer. Alternatively you can visit you're place of purchase and they can send this away for you also.
